As you can tell, the setlist wasn’t very different from the Kawasaki live, but it was a bit more paced, with a few mellower songs in between the hard ones. It was the smallest livehouse they had performed in since last spring, so the atmosphere was very warm and intimate. As for the new song, I can confirm that it’s called Senkou (I wasn’t sure if I heard it right the first time), but I’m not sure about the kanji.

Quote of the night:
Saga: (talking about his new red skin-tight pants during the MC) When I bought them, the clerk told me I’m the only one wearing this size.
Fan: Meaning?
Saga: It means that I better not have a mokkori1.

Saga was in a very good mood last night. For some reason, during RAINBOWS, he started doing the X-Jump (an X Japan furi-tsuke where you jump and cross your arms into a X at the same time).

1 Mokkori = erection

The Official Website (both PC and mobile) got a fresh new look to celebrate the release of Alice Nine’s “Complete Collection 2006-2009″. What’s the meaning of “9″? Could it be a countdown?

The members were wearing the costumes from the “Complete Collection 2006-2009″ promotion shots. Tora has a new hair style. It’s a bit difficult to explain, but his hair is black, with the whole bottom part bleached blond on the left side of his head, and some bleached blond streaks on the right side. Very cool! And Saga made Nao reveal that he had shaved a patch of hair off the right side of his head, but it was not really visible because of the way his hair was styled.

Today’s setlist was quite hard, with more wild and upbeat songs than slow and melodious ones. I’m not sure about the new song’s title, but to give you an idea, it’s a melodic metal-like song in the same style as CROSS GAME. They for sure seemed to happy to be on stage again after such a long time.

By the way, I mentionned in comments somewhere that I wasn’t sure how to romanize the 理 kanji in 幾何学の理. I’ve seen a lot of places romanize it as “ri” but it’s indeed “kotowari”. I thought it’d be interesting to mention that the tour’s title has been translated to “Reason of Geometry” on all the merchandise.
